Hello and Welcome. I am Mark Travis and I am glad you are here.
COVID-19 Update: At the moment I am able to provide both in office and Telehealth sessions. I am following both CDC and WA State regulations. Clients will need to sign a consent form before entering my office space. Masks are required to be worn in my office. I may have to return to only providing Telehealth sessions if WA state changes its regulations/recommendations due to increase in COVID-19 cases.
I spent twenty four years as a public speaker, teacher and community advocate. I have turned my gifts of empathy, listening, creativity and humor to sitting with people and listing to their stories in a therapeutic setting. I work with individuals, adolescents, adults, couples and families of all ethnicities, gender, gender identity/ies, sexual orientation, life and religious/spiritual beliefs. My job is to sit with you and listen without judgement. Together we will create goals and discern the paths you will need to walk in order to reach the change you are seeking or need.
My practice primarily covers individuals thirteen years and older, couples, and families including members of all ages.
My experience includes work with anxiety, depression, and grief counseling. I have worked with the many expressions within the LGBTQ+ community including helping individuals discern their gender identity, sexual orientation and the coming out process. I provide marriage counseling and help couples who are needing to process issues around divorce. I am also experienced in providing a safe place for people to explore issues around sex and sexual expression.
I provide adolescent, adult, individual, relational and family counseling as well as psycho educational sessions.
I use a variety of assessment tools and use the most up to date empirical studies.
Sessions are 50 minutes and I charge $120.00 per session.
I can take First Choice, Regence Blue Shield and Premera. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm treatment coverage.
